The '''<tt>mce-announce</tt>''' mailing list is used to communicate important hardware, firmware and software updates to the MCE user community.  This is an announcement-only list: subscribers are not able to post to the list.  (To contact someone at UBC, please e-mail them directly.)  The rate of traffic on this list is typically extremely low.

The easiest way to subscribe to the list is by sending an e-mail to [mailto:LISTSERV&#64;lists.ubc.ca LISTSERV&#64;lists.ubc.ca] (from the email address you want to subscribe with) containing the following body:

 SUBSCRIBE MCE-ANNOUNCE <Your-first-name> <Your-last-name>

To unsubscribe send an email to [mailto:LISTSERV&#64;lists.ubc.ca LISTSERV&#64;lists.ubc.ca] with the body:

 UNSUBSCRIBE MCE-ANNOUNCE
