Hi Mandana, It appears that the USB blaster driver in Quartus II 8.0 has problem. It looks like a mistake in the 8.0 release. We should be able to fix the issue in the next release 8.1. I have attached the driver in Quartus II version 7.2. We have tested the attached driver and it works well. Diffing .pof Files from Different Versions
A diff between .pof files generated with Quartus II 8.0 sp1 and Quartus II 7.2 yields the following:
